Show up well groomed

If you are wearing makeup, natural looks are preferred and turn out better in photos

Make sure that your outfit(s) are clean, wrinkle free, and lightly worn

Style your hair so that it is not frizzy, messy, or tangled

Avoid really big or flashy jewelry that may take away from your features

If your nails aren't professionally done, make sure they are at least clean, cut, and filed evenly

If you wear glasses, avoid transition lenses and wear glare free lenses or contacts

If you have facial hair, make sure it is well maintained

Get rid of or cover up any body hair you do not want seen in photos

Make sure to cover any harsh tan lines, tatoos, body piercings, etc.

Hydrate your skin by drinking a lot of water and applying lotion if necessary

Make sure to bring essentials with you such as:

Be prepared to be in the outdoors for a while and dress accordingly
